A fantastic early original vintage bridge tally, which, although unsigned, is most certainly the great artwork of notable artist Samuel L. Schmucker! Featuring a very pretty woman sitting on a smiling JOL-man's knee, with her arm wrapped around the back of his head and her hand resting on his shoulder. They sit in front of a large full green moon! Her scoop-neck dress has golden-colored stars on it. She's wearing a red headband in her hair and matching red stockings with stars and crescent moons on them, as well as red high-heeled shoes. Three red devils or goblins watch this whimsical couple! OUTSTANDING! The front reads, "Tally. Table No. Couple No.". This image was also produced on postcards. The postcard has a copyright of 1912 and was published by John Winsch. Hence, we believe this was also published in 1912 by Winsch. It was printed in Germany! Measures approximately 2 x 5 inches. An excellent vintage tally with STRONG COLORS and GREAT GRAPHICS!
The condition is VERY FINE / EXCELLENT! Light edge and corner wear. No tears or creases. AN INCREDIBLE RARE FIND in GREAT CONDITION!
