A fantastic original vintage Black Americana postcard. Circa 1907-1915! Featuring a glowing JOL walking towards a young child. Notice the owl sitting on the tree branch in front of the full moon! OUTSTANDING and VERY RARE! We believe this is one of only five known Black Americana Halloween postcards from the early 1900's! The caption reads, 'Strange sights are seen on Halloween'. Series #6505. Measures approximately 5-3/8 x 3-3/8 inches. An excellent vintage postcard with outstanding graphics!
The condition is EXCELLENT! Writing on back; not postmarked. Light corner-tip wear with a small lower-right corner-tip crease. No stains or tears. A GREAT RARE FIND! Note that "eBay ID PostcardPalace" is on the scanned images only, not the postcard. This has been stored in a rigid sleeve.
